Jess Maguire (she/they), MSW, is a certified somatic psychedelic facilitator, trauma practitioner and doula who provides trauma-informed, LGBTQ2SIA+ affirming care through an integrative approach rooted in psychodynamic, existential, somatic, transpersonal, intersectional, postcolonial feminist, and queer theories. Committed to serving clients within complex systems and contributing to their field, Jess recently published a novel framework in a leading social work journal, presenting a postcolonial and intersectional approach to harm reduction in eating disorders and body image work.
Specializing in addressing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, complex trauma, PTSD, and gender and sexual identity formation, Jess utilizes a variety of modalities including mindfulness, DBT, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Parts Integration Work, and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. Grounded in a practical and empathetic framework, they strive to help clients feel truly seen and understood, fostering hope and collaboratively developing skills to build a life beyond suffering.
